“Glitter and Tentacles” is the creative brainchild of Sîan Rees.
Originally started as a themed birthday party that incorporated aspects of both different friend groups within their life – “Glitter” for the burlesque performers and the theatre lovers; “Tentacles” for the freaks, geeks and nerds. – They wanted to create an event that everyone felt that they could be a part of and have fun with, whatever background they came from.
On the same evening, the first tentacle fascinator was debuted as part of their costume. Both the fascinator and the event itself were a hit.
Since then, (and since it was realised that “Glitter and Tentacles” was a really cool name for a creative business!) “Glitter and Tentacles” became synonymous with inclusion and represents a wide range of art forms.
